Organizational climate and its relationship with job satisfaction in health institutions in Peru

Introduction: One of the concerns of health institutions is related to the achievement of objectives and goals, the increase in productivity and the improvement of the quality of service, work and professional performance. Under these conditions, the organizational climate and job satisfaction are part of a social phenomenon where the need to understand the influence on the performance and satisfaction of workers is valued, as an unavoidable condition of excellence for change and greater organizational efficiency.
Objective: To analyze characteristics of research on the variables organizational climate and job satisfaction in original scientific articles and confirm the type of relationship that exists between both variables.
Methods: Systematic review of the literature, with the selection criteria being: original research articles that address "organizational climate" in combination with "job satisfaction", published in Spanish and English in databases: Scopus, Web of Science, EBSCO and Wiley, no more than five years old (between 2016 and 2020).
Results: a total of 63 articles written in Spanish and English were found. Finally, 17 that met the requirements were selected.
Conclusion: Most of the authors conclude that the organizational climate is considered regular and job satisfaction tends to be medium to high.
